A holiday from walking in Pamplona. I have done laundry, ate some good food and walked around a bit, but in my crocs so it doesn’t count.

I have been trying to think about what I would have needed to do at home to prepare for the first day over the Pyrenees mountains. I would have needed to hike the M 5 times in one day, and on the last run come down the steep way.

I have had some wonderful encounters with people, including a young couple who are Cambridge students. I got a little too preachy, but I hope they will forgive me. I even used the fancy word I learned from Scott, liminal space.

I cry every day, but it’s okay. Tomorrow I walk again.
