I walked to Berguette yesterday. It was very hard, but only for the last 10 kilometers or so. People usually stop in Roncesvilles, but my room was another 3 kilometers away. When I got to Roncesvilles, I didn’t feel like I could go much further. The route before that was steep, uneven ground, rocky, and roots. The last three kilometers were flat, smooth path, and I felt like I was on a people mover in an airport. I was too exhausted to eat more than a few pieces of bread and drink a beer. I am very sore, but I can’t tell whether walking will loosen me up. As you can see from the pictures, the views were spectacular. I will start walking today, and see how it goes.
