In 14 days I will be in Santiago for the second time. I’m curious to see how I feel compared to last year. I did my first Camino with skepticism that I would succeed. This one I felt pretty confident that I could do it. Both times, for very different reasons, the first day was the most challenging. A good metaphor for life: starting is the hardest part. I think Tom Petty might have said that.
Today has been a relaxing zero day. Breakfast was thick toast with cheese, ham, and an egg, and fresh squeezed orange juice. Lunch was a nap, and hanging out by the pool. I will have a nice dinner, and then up early for a 28 km walk (~17 miles).
